Just a quick link through to the Napkin project- in the hope that at least one other person will contribute to this lovely cause.

The idea of the project is that you embroider a napkin that will make it’s way to someone dealing with dementia.
The napkins will act as a creative trigger and hopefully spark a distant memory, I felt it was a beautiful and worthwhile cause.
You hear so many stories of neglect and loneliness and I compare this to the wonderful relationship I have with my own grandparents or remember all of the stories, skills and advice my elders have given me.
I will be sure to update with snaps of the embroidery design
